Grenache provides the plush, juicy fruit on the palate while the Syrah adds a twist of spice, a touch of acidity and some pretty blue toned pink to the colour. To ensure the delicate berry aromas, bright fruit flavours and balanced acidity in the final wine, the grapes are picked early and pressed immediately.
