1937 Gibson Roy Smeck Stage De Luxe Other fingerboard width at the nut1937 Gibson Roy Smeck Stage De Luxe in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear for an instrument of its age. Tom converted this Roy Smeck to Spanish style. The process involved: neck reset, neck reshaping, taking the nut width down from 2 1 8" to 1 13 16", adding a 1 2" aluminum square tube to stiffen the neck, filled and recut bridge for saddle compensation and fretting. The neck finish is a spot on match of the original done using the same
