Large Japanese Woodcut Tool - Shallow Gouge special Set of 5 x 75mlAsamaru Large, shallow gouge with a long handle. Available in two sizes: 10. 5mm wide blade and 18mm wide blade A shallow gouge used for gentle hollowing or creating concave and convex surfaces. Laminated steel blades and are made from a base layer of hardened blue paper steel which forms the cutting edge with a softer steel forged over the top.
