American Primitive Oak Chest foot rest 46" W x 9" Dc. 1800s Antique wooden trunk with all steel hardware. This piece features varnished oak with a deep brown exterior and golden interior. The handles, straps, hinges, nails, and other hardware are of a hand wrought iron construction as evidenced by the characteristic hammered nails. Also present is the original iron keyhole and locking mechanism, though the key isn't included. Exhibits minor signs of wear including rust, a few modern replacement screws
