This early 20th century parasol features a deep maroon silk canopy detailed with concentric rings of pleated ruffles, giving it both volume and elegance. A gilt brass finial anchors the top, while the steel rib system provides strength and balance. The handle is finished in lacquered black wood, and a surviving
