Beasley, Jim - Leonard 50DF 8'0 3/2 5wt Bamboo Rod 3-Piece Gary Howells built the rodsFor sale here is a classic Leonard 50DF taper rod, built by Jim Beasley. Built in 1994, owned by country singer Dan Seals. Dan broke the mid, it was repaired by Wes Cooper (scarf). The rod was sent to Steve Blake to undo what Wes had done. Steve had a new mid done. Installed Leonard (early post fire) ferrules and made a Leonard style reel seat with a nicely figured butternut insert. Steve wrapped the mid (perfect match) and straightened the sections.
